1st runner...Toddler Miss Sweetheart GA

Eat your heart out Toddlers and Tiara's. Your show sucks anyway. We have the real pageant winners in our family. Lila and Larkin entered a pageant in Buford this past weekend where they awed the standing room only crowd and left all the Bufordites whispering to each other "Those girls must be Jon and Nancy's, because only God could create something as pretty as those two". Larkin ended up being the first contestant of the day and sat everso graciously in Mommy's arms wowing the crowd. Even though she didn't win, she still was the prettiest baby there. In fact, she was one of only two babies in her group which was unfair because the rest of the girls were walking and chewing gum at the same time. This is Dad's point-of-view of course.

Next up was Lila. After hearing screams coming from backstage we wondered if it were her creating those un-pageant like sounds. Then, from behind the curtain appeared your Toddler Miss Sweetheart of Georgia 1st runner-up. Yeah I know, how could she not be the champ? I didn't have a c-note in my wallet at the time, I guess. Bribery is illegal. Anyway, Lila put on a SHOW when she stepped on stage as if a switch was turned on. She truly will be a performer of some kind. Both girls were wonderful and we couldn't have asked for a more precious couple of little ladies. Also, the girls's cousins Emma, Rachel, and Gracie all were in pageants of their respective age group's and all were very pretty and should've won. You gotta love pageant judges. Like I said before, bribery is illegal.

Hanging around

Hey everybody!! We've definately had alot going on this month. After days of liberation and late night discussions, we've decided to hire a nanny to keep our girls. Goodbye runny noses and dirty fingernails. Everything is going great so far. The girls seem to really like her their nanny. Larkin has begun to hold her bottle and write poetry in the third person and Lila has become little Miss Chatty. The other day, she talked for 5 hrs and 38 minuts straight. We timed it. Wonder where she gets that.......

Below are just a few pics of us hanging around the house.

Lila and Larkin playing together on the floor. Larkin was the only one who would turn and look at me. Yo Gabba Gabba was on....

Lila enjoying her snack and the nice weather.

Larkin started holding her bottle all by herself this week.
